Janson Decoration. Paris: Société D'Études et de Publications Économiques. First edition hardcover with dust jacket, 1971. 240 pp. with color and b/w illustrations.  The dust jacket has a few, very small tears but is in good shape.

Only 500 copies were printed of this beautiful book. It comprises an overview of the work of Maison Jansen, the renowned Parisian house of interior decorators and designers. The text is in French and English. This is the first monograph of the century-Old Paris design house famous for its lavish interiors. The firm's contemporary reputation was that Jansen never decorated a house for a client, instead he assisted the client. He said it was not proper to overshadow the client. He worked with: the Rothschilds, Shah of Iran, Niarchos, The White House for Jackie Kennedy, as well as the Rothschilds, Coco Chanel, and Elsie de Wolfe.
