The coordinates in the title refer to the the exact place where Tougas was standing at that moment, at 4324 meters above sea level. The Salinas and Aguada Blanca is a national reserve in Peru protecting various native flora and fauna. The dramatic landscape includes high Andean plateaus and beautiful vistas. Some mammals native to the reserve are the llama, alpaca, the vicuña, and more.
Tougas took the photograph on his Hasselblad 500CM - a medium format camera - and used a black and white film. The negative was scanned using a drum scanner. The resulting digital file was printed on an inkjet printer on Canson photographic paper. The final dimension of the print is 53.5 x 53.5 inches on a 55 x 55 inches paper. Framed behind plexi. The framed piece is 59 x 59 inches.
Photograph is custom framed to order. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks.
