The Pedro armchair by Carl-Gustav Hiort af Ornas. Made in Finland circa 1950. With its outward pointing curved legs, this sculptural armchair offers a striking and elegant silhouette. During his career, Carl Gustaf Hiort af Ornas developed techniques to bend veneer in three dimensions, which gives this innovative design a beautifully rounded backrest. Our master upholstery team restored this pair with new foam and cushioning and upholstered in a super soft Loro Piana alpaca and virgin wool fabric in a muted, cozy taupe. Loro Piana fabrics are crafted in Italy and renowned for their outstanding quality and exceptional beauty. A fine pair of chairs.
