Maggie Robertson

Maggie Robertson is an artist that divides her time between her home in St. Louis and an apartment in New York City. Whilst she is best known for her large scale blue horse paintings and prints, and cyanotypes packed with flora and fauna, her ceramic work is an important three dimensional aspect to her most recent work.

The Country Gentleman Collection is a series of hand built vessels that embrace the resultant seams and irregularities in the clay juxtaposed with lavishly hand painted scenes of the English countryside in the classic blue and white.
