The text is in French and English. This is the first monograph of the century-Old Paris design house famous for its lavish interiors. The firm's contemporary reputation was that Jansen never decorated a house for a client, instead he assisted the client. He said it was not proper to overshadow the client. He worked with: the Rothschilds, Shah of Iran, Niarchos, The White House for Jackie Kennedy, as well as the Rothschilds, Coco Chanel, and Elsie de Wolfe.
