The tulip style chair from Burke Inc was inspired by the famous Eero Saarinen Tulip Chair. The most noticeable difference between the two designs is the base. The Burke chair has a star-shaped base. Burke mass produced their chairs in the 1960s to great popularity. We collected this set and decided to paint them a high gloss Yves Klein blue for a cool contrast between the chair and creamy Brazilian sheepskin cushions. This is a chic set of dining chairs destined for a very cool room. Make it blue!
