Eero Saarinen was surrounded by design his entire life; his father, Eliel Saarinen was an architect and his mother, Loja Saarinen, was an acclaimed textile artist. His short, but productive career, was packed with design triumphs including his Womb Chair, Grasshopper Chair, and Tulip Chair. The Womb Chair is at the very tippy top of our most worshipped items. It’s the most comfortable chair in the world. We also love that Saarinen designed our hometown's most famous landmark, the Gateway Arch. Photo Source
