We received the chairs and thought the floral needlepoint was exquisite so decided to leave it as is. We added Loro Piana black leather to the back of the chair to modernize them with the addition of nailheads. Each chair showcases a floral-carved crest rail above the padded back, the arm grips and support posts have carved acanthine details, each raised on cabriole legs. Darling.

Very good condition. Each chair has filler to the lower portion of a rear leg to cover insect damage. There are shrinkage
cracks to the shoulder of one chair. The frames are very sturdy, ready for everyday use. The needlepoint upholstery is in great shape. The seat has been restructured and refilled from the bottom so as not to disturb the needlepoint seat. Overall, nice,
pleasing patina.
