Karl Springer's furniture wrapped in lacquered skins—goat, lizard, alligator, shagreen, python, and even frog—were his most distinct pieces. This beautiful Springer armchair is made of lacquered goatskin. The thick lacquer creates a very cool, smooth, shiny finish with the color variation and texture of the skin visible beneath. We expertly restored the seat in shearling in a cool khaki grey color to complement the richness of the skin. So chic!. So luxe.
