Astair benefits from all the areas of technical expertise of Ligne Roset: a pocket-sprung suspension, composed of steel springs layered between high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam (42kg/m3 – 4.8 kPa and 38 kg/m3 – 3.6 kPa), the use of the best high resilience foams on the market, with padding which guarantees both comfort and longevity. The technical expertise is exemplified most in the construction of the tubular steel structure and base : the base is bent into shape without visible solder joints or screws. The armchair and its ottoman may be paired with pedestal/low tables with matching bases.
