Description
Designed by Ueli Berger, Eleanora Peduzzi-Riva, and Heinz Ulrich for de Sede of Switzerland in 1972, the DS-600 is the absolute ultimate in sofas. Originally purchased from a private New York collection, this vintage leather and corduroy DS-600 is comprised of 41 interchangeable units, 400 inches in length of sofa! In our showroom, we split the sofa in 2 pieces for two distinct beautiful seating areas that tie the whole room together.
Named after a mythical alpine creature, the Tatzelwurm, our DS-600 has embodied the de Sede lifestyle for over 45 years. With its modular elements that can be expanded to suit every individual taste, it has traveled the world and even found its place in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s longest sofa. - from De Sede website.
