A fine set of eight George II walnut dining chairs comprising two arms and six sides of very fine rich color, each having a scrolling top rail with sweeping shoulders and carved rolled ears over a pierced foliate scroll carved splat, each having a drop-in seat covered in natural zebra hide raised on boldly-carved cabriole legs with decoration to the knees ending in claw and ball feet. The two arm chairs with shepherd's crooked arms. New zebra hide upholstered seats are a striking addition to these antique chairs.
