A gorgeous set of JH507 dining chairs with an outstanding provenance having been acquired directly from the Francis A. Countway Library of Medicine at Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Wegner set was chosen by the modernist architect, Hugh Stubbins Jr. for use in conference rooms and study alcoves.

Overall in very good condition. The wood frames present with scattered surface scratches, abrasions, scuffing, indentations and small nicks throughout consistent with age and gentle use.
The chairs have been sensitively reupholstered in a black leather in keeping with the original design that presents very well overall with minor creasing and wear consistent with gentle use.
