The Mochi easy chair draws on traditional and varied types of leatherwork to create a deceptively simple, truly versatile piece suitable to almost any room. Used in a pair or as a standalone, it offers a welcoming and comfortable accent to a master bedroom, lounge, or hall. Upholstered in cozy shearling, large panels of material offset the Mochi’s exposed, timber frame. Woven leather cord offers comfortable support to the upholstery, wrapped whole around the interior to achieve the seamless appearance that gives the Mochi its quiet elegance. Heavy straps on the backrest anchor the cushion to its solid wooden frame, giving the piece a contemporary feel even as they draw on the tradition of the early 20th century.
Bespoke Options: Upholstery is in a range of leathers, shearling, or heavyweight linen. Please enquire for the full range. The wood frame choices are ash, sycamore, London plane, elm, oak and walnut. Bespoke colors and finishes are available on request. We are happy to send out samples and sample packs. Please inquire if you would like samples sent to you.
Photo shown in the listing is Cream linen.
