The sculptural cantilever design showcases the beauty of bent plywood. The chair alone is one of the most comfortable chairs of mid-century design with the wide, deep seat. It has been a dream to restore a Tank chair in zebra hide to mimic the original zebra fabric so loved by Alvar's wife, Aino, that accompanied the original Tank design. Forever chic.
